You're not asking whether a decision is right or wrong — you're asking whether you can survive being wrong. That's a different question with a different answer. The fear of a wrong choice is usually fear of the version of yourself you'd have to meet if the choice backfired.

You're waiting for a certainty that no decision can ever provide.
You can already feel the regret of the option you didn't pick, before you've picked one.
Different ways to look at the question
A choice is only 'wrong' in hindsight — and hindsight is never available at decision time.
What you actually have is the ability to meet whatever happens and change course. That's the skill the fear is asking you to develop. The people who decide well haven't eliminated mistakes; they've stopped treating them as verdicts.
The regret you're pre-feeling is a rehearsal for a self you've already decided you'd be.
You're not afraid of the choice — you're afraid of the story you'll tell yourself after it. If things went badly, who would you become in your own mind? Question that story and the fear shrinks to a manageable size.
Courage isn't not feeling fear. It's choosing anyway and refusing to call it wrong.
Fear tells you the stakes are real — that's all it knows. It doesn't know which way you should go, and it has no more authority than that. You're allowed to feel it fully and still move.
